  • STAHLS’ continued its annual participation in the NFL Draft with behind-the-scenes and on-demand decoration. The 2018 draft marked the seventh year the company has provided services for the sports league. Taking place April 26–28 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the high-profile event only required the company’s decorators onsite for a few hours but takes “months of preparation,” explains Josh Ellsworth,  vice president of sales, dealer channel, because of all the variables.
  • The winners of FESPA’s 2018 Awards were announced at its annual Gala Dinner, which took place at the Classic Remise in Berlin on Wednesday 16 May, during FESPA Global Print Expo 2018.

Terry: Aaron, let me start by saying this is my list based on conversations every day and at events across the country. Not scientific but the 10 categories I discuss most with users and wannabe users. This is a preview of what Jay Busselle and I will be discussing during the DTG Academy this weekend in New Jersey.

1) Events of a lifetime – whale watching, deep sea fishing

2) Service providers – lawn care, window washers, movers, etc. where you be the warehouse

3) Bars, taverns, restaurants – staff garments and gift shop items

4) Parties and corporate events – onsite custom printing

5) Dance, cheer, gymnastics – teams, events and competitions

6) Car enthusiasts – car shows, clubs, race tracks

7) Realtors – promotional and new home gifts

8) Schools – including booster clubs, school stores, teams, class shirts

9) Family reunions – RIP shirts included here

10) Military – active duty, ROTC, veteran groups
