Terry: Michelle Moxley is a career Research, Development, and Innovation expert with a demonstrated history of working in the apparel and fashion industry. Skilled in screen printing, special effects printing, Separation, Graphics, Pre-press, Digital Printing, and Textiles. Twenty-four years of print industry experience with BFA focused on Media arts, 2D, and 3D Animation. Creative artist and printer, always on the cutting edge in the garment decoration world of technology, ink, printing, equipment, and art with previous employment at Gildan, Virus, and some top production companies. She is currently Director of Innovation at M&R Equipment, in Roselle, IL.

Aaron: Let’s dive right in with the current developments in hybrid printing. Where are we today?

Terry: I think anyone who’s attended a major trade show in the year before COVID has seen some form of hybrid screen/digital printing. How has this been marketed to date, and how has the market accepted the technology? 

Aaron: Let’s talk near future. What upcoming developments in digital can we expect to see?

Terry: How about further out in the future? What technology adaptations and interactive garment ideas should we be watching to see? Where are we 2021 and beyond?

Aaron: From a practical production floor standpoint, what are the cost saving measures in the hybrid print space?
