Tony Cheramie was a truck driver by trade and looking to add extra income like so many of us before coming to this industry. He did a little homework and started screen printing nearly three years ago. Tony will be sharing his story… the good, the bad, the misprinted, with advice for those new to the world of garment decorating starting a business. Plus we are also joined by Scott Ritter of the Decorated Apparel Expo to get an update on their shows and what 2021 has in store for them.

What I Learned about Starting a Business
Terry: Tony Cheramie is a truck drive by trade. He was looking to add extra income and started looking into textiles. He did a little homework and started screen printing Feb 1, 2018. Tony welcome into the show!
Aaron: Tony, you’re about 2½ years into garment decorating now. Tell us a little bit about your business. Who are your customers?
Terry: You mentioned to us when we were prepping for the show that you started with the “cheap stuff”. Talk to us about how you got started.
Aaron: What equipment do you have now?
Terry: You came from outside the industry. How did you learn the screen printing craft?
Aaron: When we first spoke about you being on the show, you wanted to communicate how to do this right. What advice do you have for someone looking to jump in today?
Terry: What do you wish you had done differently?
Aaron: Tell us about Print Mafia.
